Rather Sweet Bakery and Cafe is one of our favorite stops in Fredericksburg. I have one of her cookbooks and being able to choose from her menu is such a treat. We typically go for soup, salad and a sandwich. They make their bread fresh daily and everything is very fresh. Choosing dessert isn't easy. This is the 2nd time we have had this cake. It is as yummy as it looks. They have quaint eating areas inside and out. This visit we ate inside because it was cooler. If you want a seat you have to arrive early too.
